Few years ago, while I was still the chairperson of Direction Association, I was busy in looking forward to establishing a sustainable business model. Through a first hand experience, I realized that voice dubbing was a fairly good job for severely physically disabled ones. I thought the potential of making it a business of our social enterprise was rather high.
In order to explore deeper into feasibility, I had invited an experienced dubber from a TV station to hold courses. The reception among our members was great and the professional dubbers gave positive response in return. I saw a glimpse of hope and was trying to transform that interests group into a job creating incubator. I have have started writing a proposal to ask for funds. If it had become a reality, this will be bread and butter for many of us. While I was studying the financial feasibility and writing proposals, a series of health problems caught me head on. C’est la vie! In the following month, I was continuously going back and forth between my home and the hospital wards the following months. And thus, that proposal was left frozen in the fridge. Although most of my serious health problems have gone, I am still kind of dwelling on this dubbing idea.
