I live with a prosthesis because I’ve lost a leg. I also got a hearing aid. My last job is a graphic designer helping people to print things on their vests, jackets and uniforms. My last job locked me in front of computer screens. All communications with my customers are conducted via texts in front of screens.
After becoming a full time staff of this social enterprise, I have to talk to people in real life no matter it’s a delivery services, a procurement or a training session. I cannot live with a computer screen only. In fact, I enjoy this new life so much because it’s challenging and I can travel around. As an athlete, this new life suits me a lot. At the same time, it’s a solid training of communication as reflection in my improvements in verbal communications.
